Day 1 :
DAY 01: Guwahati airport – Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)
Arrive Guwahati airport & drive to Shillong (140 kms / 4 ½ hrs drive from Guwahati airport). Check-in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 2 :
DAY 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (MEGHALAYA)
After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs drive). Enroute visit Shillong Peak, elephant Falls. Late lunch at hotel. Evening visit the local markets & Ward’s lake. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3 :
Day 03: Shillong – Tezpur / Bhalukpong (MEGHALAYA – ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong (325 kms / 7 hrs drive). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 :
Day 04: Tezpur / Bhalukpong– Dirang (ASSAM – ARUNACHAL PRADESH)
After breakfast drive to Dirang (175 kms / 6 hrs drive). Overnight at Hotel Pemaling or similar. (Standard Hotel, Basic facilities)
Day 5 :
Day 05: Dirang – Tawang (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)
After breakfast drive to Tawang, bypassing Sella pass (13,700 ft.) (175 kms / 7 hrs drive). Overnight in Hotel Tawang Inn or similar. (Standard, basic facilities)
Day 6 :
Day 06: Tawang (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)
Full day visit including Tawang Monastery, Penga Ten Tso (PTTso) Lake, craft centre and local market. Late Lunch at Hotel. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 7 :
Day 07: Tawang – Bomdila (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)
After breakfast drive to Bomdila (195 Kms / 7 hrs drive). Overnight in Hotel Tsepal Yangjom or similar. (Standard, basic facilities)
Day 8 :
Day 08: Bomdila – Kaziranga (ARUNACHAL – ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga (280 Kms / 7 hrs drive). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 9 :
Day 09: Kaziranga (ASSAM)
Early morning elephant safari (1st ride: 5.30 am to 6.30 am, 2nd ride: 6.30 am to 7.30 am). Wake up call half an hour before the ride. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return for lunch. After lunch jeep safari (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa). Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 10 :
Day 10: Kaziranga – Guwahati airport (ASSAM)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (250 Kms / 5 hrs drive). TOUR ENDS HERE.

Last week, we went on a trip to sikkim organised by gangtok holidays.It was a customised super deluxe category one which was very well organised . Everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time. There was some miscommunication at some point but it was solved. Drivers and cars provided were very good. Hotels were good but at lachung it was not so good.Anyway, thanks to gangtok holidays for the wonderful trip. I would recommend you to go on holidays wiih gangtok travels.

I booked a complete MAP tour package for Sikkim and Darjeeling including Hotels, Meals and Transportation with Neha from Gangtok Holidays for my Family of 4 members. Between 9th Dec to 16th Dec. What I like most about is that what was promised was delivered, Clean and New Cabs with experienced drivers. Mr Bichung was one of them.
Very good hotels -Dome Palace in Gangtok, Himalayan Retreat in DJ and Lauchng Continental in Lachung with very good food with your choice and inhotel services. Staff was very courteous specially Sanjay at Doma palace.
Transfers were smooth and seamless.

My family most liked the real time support from Gangtok Holidays, specially from Neha.

We are 7 to 8 childhood friends who have decided to go to Tourism every yearwithout fail. This year we had decided to visit Darjeeling and Gangtok. Booked the train 3 months in advance now had to choose the tour agency. Inquired locally for it but found it too expensive so searched tour agency in Gangtok on Google. Contacted Gangtok Holidays as the reviews were good and they offered us a package at a very low price.
