Ravangla, Pelling

Ravangla is a small tourist town located at an altitude of 8000 feet in the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by state highway to other major cities of the state and is located between Pelling and Gangtok. This is the starting point of the track for Maine Wildlife Sanctuary. It is about 65 km from Gangtok and 120 km from Siligudi in West Bengal.

The upper parts of Rawangla usually get snow in winter. During the months of April-May, the area is surrounded by many flowers, including orchids and rhododendrons.

Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, Mt. Siniolchu, Mt. Kabru peaks are visible from Ravangla.
